eProfile

Introduction

The eProfile software has been developed in Suffolk and is licensed by DFE for free use in maintained schools and PVIs.

It is designed to help the classroom practitioner to record Early Years Foundation Stage Profile assessments.  A range of printouts and charts enables practitioners to track pupil development through the EYFSP and school leaders to review the performance of groups of pupils.  eProfile also offers a tool to enable reporting to parents.  It runs under Microsoft Windows.

Can I get a copy?

Most users run eProfile as their only recording system.  Some use eProfile alongside other software packages.  While the software itself is standard Windows software and does not need any special computer pre-configurations for it to be installed you should always check with your ICT/network support people if you intend to use eProfile, and you must check whether your LA is prepared to support its use.  eProfile picks up pupil names from a standard Common Transfer File (CTF) and also creates a CTF containing completed pupil EYFSP assessments that can be imported into your school’s MIS or returned directly to your LA.
